Writing new history for concerts in Korea, Super Junior became the first Korean group to hold a total of 100 concerts for a world tour.

Nicknamed the hallyu kings, Super Junior held its 100th Super Show 6 on September 21 at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium. Super Junior began the Super Show in 2008 and set a new record with a total of 100 shows with the September 21 concert.

During the Seoul concert, Super Junior performed a relay of hit songs, such as Mr. Simple, Sorry Sorry, Mamacita as well as other songs from its albums. Time was set aside for the performances of Super Junior-M, Donghae and Eunhyuk′s unit group, as well as the unique solo stages of each member, showing the multi-entertainer sides of Super Junior. On the afternoon of September 21, Super Junior held a press conference for “Super Junior World Tour Super Show 6.” This concert would be their 100th world tour concert. They revealed their thoughts on this amazing achievement, “We’re so honored and emotional to hold the title of being the first Korean artist to reach 100 world tour concerts. We’ll always think of ourselves as the representative Korean national team anywhere we go. Thank you.”

Group SuperJunior is being popular by ranking 1st in Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong’s weekly chart.

SuperJunior’s 7th regular album ‘MAMACITA’ has ranked no.1 in weekly charts of domestic album sales total sites such as Hanteo Chart and Synnara for 2 consecutive weeks and proved SuperJunior’s power of being strong at selling albums by ranking 1st in the weekly chart of Gaon Chart at the first week of September (August 31st~ September 6th).

Also, SuperJunior ranked 1st in weekly charts of Asian album charts such as Taiwan FIVE MUSIC Korean-Japanese Chart and Hong Kong HMV Korean-Japanese Chart. Their title song ‘MAMACITA’ realized global music fans’ hot interest by ranking at the top of Hong Kong online music site KKBOX’s Korean music TOP 100 weekly chart (September 7th~September 13th).

Besides SuperJunior’s title song ‘MAMACITA’ swept no. 1 in last week’s music programs such KBS 2TV ‘Music Bank’, ‘MBC ‘Show! Music Core’…
